National Expansion & Reform Berea Baptist Church

Berea Baptist Church

Berea Baptist Church was founded in 1852 with the goal of bringing people to Christ in the Fredericksburg, VA area. Shortly after its inception, the United States Civil War broke out. During the Mud March of January 1863, Union troops used the church as a stable, tore out the gallery and pews, and broke the windows. Thankfully, the church was repaired after the war. The photo below is from the 1930s and the main sanctuary still stands today!

This is Berea Baptist Church as it appears today.
