Individual and family memberships last from January 1 – December 31st.
Annual dues must be paid on or before January 1st of each year.
The tangible benefits of being a member include a subscription to our quarterly newsletter, a 10% discount on all online purchases, and discounts on charged events, but the most important member benefit is being part of a community that takes pride in its heritage by documenting and sharing its stories for future generations.
Stafford County Historical Society membership has helped support these community programs/activities:
- Via Colori street painting festival
- Langley Aerodrome Experience at the Stafford County Airport
- Social Studies Showcase celebrating Stafford County student achievements
- Dr. Martin Luther King Day and Juneteenth celebrations
- Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s Summer Reading program
- Stafford Arts Festival scholarships
- Assist with the coordination and repair of historically significant cemetery headstones
- Assist in genealogical searches, answering questions and requests from historians worldwide
