New paid memberships receive a copy of “A History of Our Own: Stafford County“, a subscription to our quarterly newsletter, a 10% discount on all online purchases, and discounts on charged events.

But the most important member benefit is being part of a community that takes pride in its heritage by documenting and sharing its stories for future generations.

Stafford County Historical Society membership supports these community programs/activities:

• Via Colori street painting festival
• Langley Aerodrome Experience at the Stafford County Airport
• Social Studies Showcase celebrating Stafford County student achievements
• Dr. Martin Luther King Day and Juneteenth celebrations
• Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s Summer Reading program
• Stafford Arts Festival scholarships
• Assist with the coordination and repair of historically significant cemetery headstones
• Assist in genealogical searches, answering questions and requests from historians worldwide
